VERA VAN DE BOSSCHE (BEL)

Vera Van den Bossche (BEL) is a long-serving and highly respected waterski racing official whose influence has come through officiating, athlete representation, and international governance.


Her involvement in the sport began in the early 1970s, and she became an International Waterski Racing Judge in 1978—a qualification she has continued to hold. Her judging experience has extended onto major international stages, including officiating at multiple IWWF World Racing Championships, reflecting her standing and trust within the sport.


Alongside officiating, Van den Bossche took on substantial leadership responsibilities within the sport’s European structures. She is a long-standing member of the European Racing Council and held the position of Secretary from 2002 to 2021, moving onto being Secretary-General of the E&A Racing Council and sits on the World waterski racing Council. She is a respected official whose commitment and contribution is recognised at the highest level.
